How to Open the LogMeIn Control Panel. Double-click the LogMeIn icon. LogMeIn icon in the Windows system tray. LogMeIn icon on the Mac menu bar. In Windows, select Start Programs LogMeIn. On a Mac, open the Finder and select Applications LogMeIn LogMeIn.

Open the LogMeIn Client app on your computer and sign in. Make sure you open the LogMeIn Client app, not the LogMeIn Control Panel app. Then click Add Computer. You will see this at the bottom of the window. Next, click Copy to clipboard. Then paste the link in an email and send it to the user you want to access remotely.

Each computer you want to access must be running the LogMeIn host software. In a sense, the LogMeIn host software safely and securely 'opens the door' to a computer for a qualified remote user.

Go to www.LogMeIn.com.
Log in to your account using your LogMeIn ID (email address) and password.
The Computers page is displayed.
On the Computers page, click Add Computer.

Add this computer	To add the computer you are using, click Add this computer > Download installer. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install LogMeIn. Important: If asked to create a Computer Access Code during the installation process, be sure to remember the code! You will need it when connecting to the computer.
